Pictorial, but without conventionally recognizable subject. What it does without is significant: Hierarchy, rigidity, obvious color statement, and allegiance to traditional methodology. It is a collection of small colored segments joined in loose, compatible alignment. A sort of confederation of awkwardly shaped fabric scraps having an affinity of color.
